Christians today could not have overlooked that the Church had, on the Sunday 31st July’09, celebrated ‘Pentecost’. What a grand time we had picnicking in the Portchester Castle grounds.
Later in the afternoon we all moved into St. Mary’s Church for a very uplifting service conducted by our Brother in Christ, John. He really brought home to us the meaning of Pentecost with readings from the Bible and some well known songs of praise.
Thank you to everyone who turned up. If you didn’t! you missed a great afternoon!
