Parents

There comes a time, when one has to make decisions about ones Parents. They become frail, or, have a ‘personality change’. You have looked after them with all your loving care, but now the time has come when you know in your heart, you cannot cope with them any longer.

You recall your childhood days when THEY looked after YOU, when THEY were always there… is this the way to repay them? You’ve tried so hard, and now it is not possible to look after them any more…
a feeling of guilt ?…a feeling of failure?…do not despair

This is all part of God’s plan for you… it must be so

You have to let them go, you know.
Although, you dearly love them so
It’s nothing you might have done.
it is the will of the Holy One.

Sometimes, the tears you can’t hold back.
a sense of courage, you seem to lack.
But rest assured you’re in His care,
of all your problems, He is aware!

So the step you have to take, is the right one,
It’s very hard for Daughter or Son…
to send them to a place of care…
so courage now… God is aware!
