A New Year is just beginning.
What will it hold for you?
Will you let 2008 rush past
And you not find anything, to do?

You could be involved in the church.
There is so much to do!
People need your help, you know.
Don’t just leave it to the few.

Working inside the building?…
Perhaps this is your ‘cup of tea’
God’s gift is inside all of us.
Pray about it…you’ll see!

Think about what you are good at.
Perhaps office work, or leading a Group.
You won’t know unless you try it,
Be Bold, don’t be in doubt.

You could be a Disciple for Jesus.
And ‘go out’ spreading the GOOD NEWS!
Telling people around you.
You could do that…if you chose.

Now, maybe, you’re not so active.
Don’t use it as an excuse!
Start a prayer group, or a meeting…..
Right there in your, own house.

By prayer, you’ll be helping others,
Who Actively, work for the Lord.
It’s a comfort to know there’s someone,
Who’s praying about you to God!

Whatever you chose to do for Him.
He’ll Bless you, and lead you on.
Your life will hold a new meaning
And later you’ll think,
Where’s this year gone!
